The winner of 2006 Worldcup is?

Filed under: Football, wise blabberings — kayode muyibi @ 1:42 am

fifa2006Brazil won the world cup in 1994. Before that they won it in 1970. Add 1970 and 1994, it equals 3964. Argentina last won the world cup in 1986. Before that they won it in 1978. Add 1978 and 1986, it equals 3964.

Germany last won in 1990. Before that they won in 1974. Add 1990 and 1974, it equals 3964. So going by this logic, the winner of the 2002 world cup was 3964 – 2002 =1962 world cup winner.

The 1962 world cup was won by Brazil, considering that the winner of 2002 was Brazil, and also 2002+1962= 3964 yet again, So using that logical formula, The winner of the 2006 world cup will be 3964 – 2006 = 1958. And the winner of 1958 was?

Do the maths :)

So I guess we can deduce the winner of the 2006 worldcup.

  1. FOrget it. Brazil can’t win it this time around. Unless they seriously improve their game.

  2. Rather I think Brazil is not interested in the attention right now, they are going at a secure phase. Their ratings on the scoreboard speaks for itself.

  3. I agree that Brazil is tipped to win, but one must watch Germany. They won all three first stage matches in one swoop. They might repeat the feat France acheived in 1998 when they hosted and won the World Cup.

I don’t agree with the maths cos it would take a superstitous mind to swallow that.

  4. Nice calculation but remember that this might not be true this time. Anyway, we would all know the winner in few days.

Meanwhile, I dont see this set of Brazilian players to win the cup. The players lack the character visible in champions…
