A lot of people are looking for alternatives to kazaa, infact something better, and I would just say use torrent. The torrent p2p technology infact is the successor of kazaa. It is for the techies, one of my friend’s lamented. But that is not true, it is quite easy once you get used to it. So how do you download something using the torrent technology.
Its very easy. The process involves 4 main steps which is :-
1. Downloading and installing the software.
2. Using a torrent search engine to search for a torrent file of your needs.
3. Downloading the torrent file which takes an average of 1 minute, depending on your connection.
4. Clicking on the downloaded torrent file to run on the main software.
It is very easy as I said, and here is the elaborated process plus url sources.

Do you mean humans clones? No, of course not human clones, I mean OEM’s in the gadget world.
OEM gadgets are those gadgets that you find been sold in the asian market without specific brand names, they might be branded inside, as in the chipset that powers them, but they are made in small factories for the asian market.

I decided to switch to Java2 because the php development team knows themselves that php is not the future. Dont ask me why ? I mean I think php is been developed towards what Java is today. Well they claim they have web in mind. But I doubt so. Java is not stagnant, it is growing, besides doing what most programming language of today such as C# , C++ do. Infact it does everything depending on which of its advanced feature you decide to implement.
The problem with Java is just that it is not opensource, and it requires a handful number of resources, but anywayz its development suite is available for free, and you can develop without spending a dime. Hosting also on such platform is hard to come by, but available.
My line of future work, which would involve developing or supervising the development of Enterprise related apps, for my setup requires me to go for a very established language, and Java just fits in perfectly.
Php is just trying to fit into that place. Introduction of php5 into the market solves one of the main feature, the OOP approach to programming, how about the different environments?

As everything has a beginning, so does it have an ending….
This week I didnt blog much but here is the roundup of what I blogged about.
22 January 2006::Instead of upgrading. under Site updates
I wrote about my decision to re-design my blog rather than upgrade the software…..
22 January 2006::The Nigerian Fraud Dilemma. under Nigeria
I wrote about the unfairness of the e-world, When it comes to treating fraudulent Nigerians…..
Well instead of upgrading the software that powers my blog “wordpress” I decided to introduce a new outlook, actually my blog deserves one, atleast since I didnt present it with anything interesting this year. Besides that I have decided to start blogging very frequently starting from this coming monday.
How do you convince a foreigner that you are a Nigerian but not fraudulent, especially when it comes to online transactions?
It is really a pain. Defending yourself out of the mess, if you happen to find yourself in one. Being the victim’s to the “Mugu’s” greed Sympathisers. Helping someone perform an illegal activity such as money laundering and later shouting out to the world that he duped you, is not just the thing.
Is Nigeria, especially victimised in the sense of mis-treatment, considering the rates of fraud in the USA, which is at an alarming rate?
Do the frauded “Mugu’s” deserve the attention they are getting?
Is there a solution to the current menace?
I cant help but ask more and more questions, but nevertheless I leave it to you to answer, because I myself , I am confused now. The crime has just begun, and the EFCC or whatever they called them need to tackle it from another angle, because as far as I know, helping an accomplice of crime, is not justice. Desperation, breaking the law and greed should be treated with equal fairness.
Hmm well I just finished my exams, and I have 3 weeks break. Yeehah, and that means sortof a lot to me.
I had to cut my “Afro”,cos it was too troublesome and well it was a skin cut, so I had to stick to the face cap, you know ;). I am sorta a shy person.
Well besides that, today we went shopping. Bought some stuff, eat the regulars, as in Nandos, and umm currently back home watching the Dvds we bought. Serenity, The phatom of the Opera and Narc.
Off to watch the movies. And hey thats me, the fist time appearing in my blog? huhuhuhu. Well yeah I just felt like it today ;).
According to a post on Roberst Scoble (employee of Microsoft) his wife her blog and other related articles I made a list of Ten Reasons Why Girls Should Date a Geek.
1. Geeks are useful, they can fix your desktop, laptop, … Those skills are very useful and can make your life run smooth.
2. They are romantic than they’re given credit for. Their idea of romance might be making up a web-page abut about you. But hey it lasts longer than flowers and you can show your friends.
3. They’ve got brains and they’re usually very well educated.
4. They’re relatively low-maintenance. So there will be no complicated dinners needed. And if you’re not the best cook, you can order a pizza.
5. You won’t have to worry about what he’s doing. You’ll probably find him at his computer.
6. They trust you, so you can be yourself around them. You like to walk around the house in a ratty t-shirt for comfort? He won’t care. They won’t get pissy if you don’t wear make-up or don’t want to bother primping your hair.
7. He will make you shine everywhere you go. No matter how clumsy you sense of style, no matter how awkward your social skills, you’ll be a fashion star and a classy diplomat next to your geek. He’ll make you look so good; you’ll fall in love with yourself.
8. If you are not into computers, TVs and
DVD and you don’t care about being popular and fashionable. What about the newest techie gadgets? You are going to be a proud owner of the latest gadgets if you ever decide to date a geek.
9. He won’t cheat on you either. Place the sexiest woman on earth in a room with a geek, say Angelina Jolie. At the other corner of the room, place the latest model of some computer or other. I am willing to bet that your geek would want to play with that computer much more than getting to know Angelina Jolie. In fact, he might not even see her if the computer is on and connected to the Internet. C’mmon he has to check his email, surf the web and blog about the fact that he is in a room with Angelina Jolie.
10.The final reason is: They actually give a damn about you. Not how you look (though that’s a plus), not how skinny you are, not how much make-up you primp yourself up with, but they like you for you.
