A bold step in my life.
From today on, I have decided to take a bold step in my life, which would make some people hate me and some to like me. Whatever that might be and so be it.
The steps are :-
1. I would no longer participate in any forum discussions, I might use it only for advertisement proposes if allowed.
2. I would wipe all my messenger list and keep only those that are beneficial to me or appreciate me in one way or the other.
3. I would no longer accomodate useless aquaintances on the net.
4. I would no longer interfere on issues because I care. I have learnt that to be “NICE” is not what is needed in this world. Besides I was told that, it means “Not interestingly caring enough”.
If I happen to ignore you on any messenger, please take it with good heart, its for my and your own good.
I guess I have studied people enough, and its time to apply this necessary steps. To all out there that I have offended in one way or the other during conversations either on phone or via messenger, please forgive me, I am a sinner, I make mistakes and it wont happen again.
For now I remain the part of the past of some peoples life and the present of some peoples life.
I was on a voyage, looking for just a friend, and I hardly got three.
Hm… what else can I say? I really support Kayode’s stand. It is because of situations like the one Kayode found himself that I seem to keep quiet on most forums and tend to ignore some comments on such forums. In fact, this is the singular reason why I remain invisible most time on my yahoo messenger though I am online for greater part of the day. So, Kayode, go ahead with your stand. I just hope we would all learn from this.

i bet you you won’t keep to your step one. the internet is addictive!

What situation did Kayode find himself in? Please be open about it!
There are people bigger than us who participate in online forums and internet chat. We’ll miss your contributions on Nairaland, and I’m proud of the fact that we were the first forum to really pique your interest and get you clients ;).

Well, Kazey it is your life to live the way you want, and therefore it is not anybody’s problem. But to candidly speak, you may need to re-consider your decison number 1. But then, it is your world.

Oh I get it. He’s gonna convert his weblog into his own forum! Just kidding but Kazey man I wonder if you really should deprive others from benefitting from your vast knowledge but refusing to participate in forums.
We all need to exercise some self control in everything we do and I believe you might decide to go slow but not completely commit to non-participation. Think about it.

Well hmm Tim is hear to flatter me. Hmm Thank you. Honestly it seems everybody is just picking on the issue of the forum. I do not have anything against any forum whatsoever. Seun for example got me dead wrong, its just a stance i took to maintain the little respect I might currently have. As the proverb goes, leave with dignity whilst the ovation is at its loudest. or how is it said?
Well whatever it might be, it doesnt have to do with any conflicts whatsoever, its for my own personal reason. I have things I am doing, and honestly I think its about time, I complete it. Infact its not only forums, chatting, I have wasted considerable a lot of time just blabbering on yahoo.
If you do know me well, you would know what I am trying to say. And Tim, Bros Felix, and most importantly Seun Osewa, please dont misunderstand my intentions. Its for my own personal good, I might poppin back when I am fully settled, but for now, I dis-engage myself from chatting, except for business and friendly proposes and totally forums. I think the email is there for a reason. I would stick to it for now.
Thanks again to all you guys who care in one way or the other. Please understand my stance, it is for my own good.
