Don’t sell out when things go wrong. Don’t let anything get you down; always bounce back up. Set goals for your future and never settle for anything less. Realize that there are others in the world with much bigger problems than you. Appreciate the good things in your life, and be thankful for the time you have with your loved ones. What I dont get was, is it that the person doesnt understand english or is it the person is high? I think i need to remove my id from nairaland right away.
Eya!
I think the person was on drugs or maybe a girl who wanted to chat to you and saw that you were not playing to her tune! That was funny especially the name calling part.
We have loads of weirdoes out there.
Take care

Hey Kayode.. do you understand where I was coming from now?.
Anyway, sometimes people think that they are doing you a favour by adding you. People forget that email is even more intrusive than calling someone. IM is even doubly so…
I can’t tell you the number of groups I’ve cancelled my subscription to, because all the members add you on to their yahoo list and start sending chain IM’s.
And then when you confront them.. it’s wahala. They think you are being awkward for not wanting to be on a junk list.

Mu ha haha ha… (lol).
I can’t help laughing after reading this. What happened was that a poor lonely girl looking for a friend on the internet has hit on the wrong guy. It’s as simple as that. But it is bad taste on the part of the girl to resort to insults when she discovered that she has been rejected.

Welcome to the Internet world buddy, where you ‘meet’ all sorts of people everyday.
I must say though that it is not every such ‘intrusions’ that turns out to be bad. I have made a few good friends who only added me to their Messenger list. Have good friends online that I have never met physically.
So, its not a bad idea if strangers added you. You simply filter out the bad ones, when you get to know they are ill-tempered like this strange Nigerian you chatted with.
I receive such chain IMs ocassionally and promptly hit on the DELETE button, before reading them.
So long…
