KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 (Bernama)—People living in coastal areas in Penang, Perak, Kedah, Perlis and Pulau Langkawi have been advised to evacuate to higher areas following fears of a tsunami after an earthquate measuring 8.5 on the Richter scale occurred off the coast of Sumatra.
Are we safe? Is Resurrection approaching? A mild earthquake was experienced where i stay, and i have been trying to call my parents to assure them everything is fine but cant reach them. it measured 8.2 on the richter scale in Sumatra. well a friend of a friends photographed image of what happened in her house can be viewed at her blog under the thread.
