BLOGS AGAIN !!

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2005

Last time i remembered talking about blogs, as the craze now. well yeah its really craze. can you believe that there is actually something called BlogShares??

Dem !! the world of blogs is going crazy !! , yes now if u might ask what really is BlogShares ?

BlogShares is a fantasy stock market for weblogs. Players get to invest a fictional $500, and blogs are valued by incoming links.

Interesting isnt it? i mean the world of blogs, still trying to forcast the future !! but i really cant see the future of it. still trying though.

WELL NOT ONLY JUST THE BLOGGIES

Saturday, March 19th, 2005

Hum BLOGS BLOGS BLOGS. The craze is really out there, people are blogging their hearts out, whether it be personal or professional. well its quite interesting what the future of blogs would be, i think it would be more of an occupation, because the way awards are given and the response of people towards blogging to get the awards, really says it all. Check THE SA Bloggies another award for Blogers but this time the audience is South Africans. well got the information from some guy that commented in one of my postings. This trend really says something, maybe soon each country would have its own blog competitions, then even states, then even districts. who knows !!. wait a minute why not i start one for my own motherland. hehehe. yeah i love putting my hands into everything.

I only think about Myself??

Thursday, March 17th, 2005

lolz yeah thats what someone said (please hasnt he heared the adage that love yourself first before you think about others) , and yeah and also that i am worse than hitler, i think i am superior than others . heheh. well is it my fault that he has to feel inferior ??!!. see me see trouble oh ( as Nigerians would say), i know people dont like me, but the point is why should i care? thats their problem isnt it? not mine (i do have a lot of things to think about besides). whatever you think about me whether you are beign judgemental or not, i dont give a dem. And yeah sorry you got the wrong person, because i am still trying to be able to be sensitive to peoples comment about me, but it just isnt working and i am really trying hard ( what an a*******) you might say.

I keep repeating to aquaintances and they still dont get it. i am not a nice person, i dont need you to like me and i dont give a dem what you think about me. Its either you talk to me and accept me for who i am or just forget it. But they still dont understand the simple english sentences. I dont know why. well and yeah before i forget i know i am arrogant, yes thats me !!. And enough of that, well i have to go to a live teleconference from a proffessor in Japan at 2pm. Well i am outta here. stay cool and please guys dont be judgemental !!

And by the way i have find a way to really bring a halt to spammers spamming my blog. by moderating comments and using comment filters. Works currently very well.

When we talk about Creativity

Wednesday, March 16th, 2005

When we talk about Some web portals Creativity in terms of making their customers or visitors enjoying the best of the best in terms of feautures and services, a lot of american sites are really very creative in that sense. An example is friendster ( A Social Network Site that can boast of millions or even billions of members (dont exagerrate!!)). One of the feautures they added recently that turned me on is the blog . Check the new feature

Friendster.

This is indeed very innovative . I have been actually thinking of doing web hosting for blogs and only charging them something really affordable. dem yeah but the point is i have to add it to the packages :D , well it might be included in the package when i launch on Monday. stay tuned and check www.nairahost.com on monday. thinking of the providing free installation plus a webmail attached to it. Choices would include installing plugins for a reasonable price and also templates, if the blogger cant do it. but repairing corrupt installation also would be charged ( in case an inexperience guy tries to tweak without backup) hehehe. anywayz as i said . stay tuned.

I do have a lot of things to do this week, exam preparation, web customization, coding. dem i am a dead man

Bloggies Award

Wednesday, March 16th, 2005

THE BLOGGIES JUST LIKE THE GRAMMIES BUT THIS TIMES ITS THE BLOGS !!bloggies
Actually the blog gets the award or the writer? i think the blog should get it, i mean just give some paper cert to add to it, instead of giving the creator the prize. ah crap, i know i am full of it. You dont have to tell me, i know ;)
by the way people have voted the norminees and the best of the web’s blogs – online diaries or websites where people publish their thoughts – have been recognised in the annual Bloggies. (excerpt from bbc)
yeah well so to say

The prizes were attractive and i wished i had a place, but my blog is full of crap without format, and thus i guess i only deserve the lousiess blog award, i think i would suggest that to them to add up in the awards they normally give so that i can get that atleast. Something is better than none. And by the way my favourite African blog did not win360 Degrees of Sky, actually i liked it because of the design. :D and yeah Where Is Raed? won . I went to the blog and really didnt know what the blog was about frankly. hehehe. i guess today i am not in a good mood.

I lost my wallet yesterday night :(

What is Happening?

Monday, March 14th, 2005

well first of all, i am currently loading contents into a new template i bought for my hosting company. well we decided to switch from naijahost to nairahost, which i think its quite cool, actually got the idea from dollarhost.com ;) . well yeah and i quite like the new template, although my partner recommends a little greenish touch to give a Nigerianish touch. hahaaha. well yeah. i am gonna try doing that with photoshop.

And yeah currently got a connection with a sports distributor, and they are given me a wholesale price for their products, which is primarily designer shoes. so any one of you interested in buying original designer shoes, just drop me a message, i would send you the pricing which would also include the shipment cost. and yeah also computer hardwares etc. i got a current deal with someone who knows someone in Pakistan, and i am working on it. if the deals struck, i should be a few 000 richer i guess. hehehe. but dem getting pricelist if freaking tiresome (travelled to kl almost 3 times without good results !! IMAGINE)

yeah and the IKEJA VILLAGE PROJECT waiting for my partners to give me feeds in terms of what we are doing and presently working on the wallet. hopes it works perfectly without any security flaw. :D. but i guess consistent backup and comparison and merging and filtering would do the trick, if i cannot achieve a state of the art security. well crap, there is nothing like that. heheheh that would be like some state of the art smart snippet to do that. :D

And yeah i am currently bored, no classes in the day, till arround 6pm. hehehe been lazing around my room and listening to westlife !! can u believe it!! what happened to me??.

A tiresome Journey.

Sunday, March 13th, 2005

Arround Kl in just only 6 hours . hum nothing much , dont mind me, besides i am just trying to get something to start with. Hum whats been really going on in my life, i wonder :-/ all i can say is exams round the corner and dealines approaching.

I just came back from kuala Lumpur, went with a friend of mine Max, and well didnt plan to buy anything but in the end i couldnt help it. I can sometimes be an impulse buyer !!. hehehe well yeah. and by the way i am currently working on www.ikejavillage.com. currently working on the ability to use a wallet. currently successful with integrating and account credit on customer accounts. well i dont know, really i am currently tired cant think much and bye for now. just bored and tired an in searching for a music to cool me off.

Laziness cures brain cells and extends life span

Sunday, March 6th, 2005

well what would you say? this is crap? well i would say if you become too lazy that would just screw up your life.
Human beings need to relax when they feel like it – it is a very good remedy for the body and especially for the brainlaziness

Better doing it tomorrow than doing it today. The people, who prefer to follow this philosophy, can now boast of having a scientifically grounded excuse for their laziness. It goes about the book titled “The Joy of Laziness,” written by a former professor of medicine, Peter Axt, and his daughter, Michaela Axt-Gadermann, a doctor and a scientific journalist (Germany).

The two authors wrote the book to stand up against the domination of the beauty and efficiency model, which can be supposedly achieved with the only one way – hard work. The two German specialists believe that excessive sports exercises can be as destructive as stress and cut people’s life span. Physical exercises, the scientists believe, intensify the production of so-called “free radicals,” unstable molecules, which possess only one electron instead of two. Such a peculiarity makes molecules becomes balance-oriented, as they attach an electron of another molecule nearby and create new instability. Metabolism turns free radicals to hydrogen peroxide, which deteriorates cells and accelerates the ageing process.

Excessive physical exercises exert a negative influence on the human body on the whole. They boost the activity of mitochondria in muscle cells. Mitochondria function as the main center for the production of free radicals. They also act as the center of cell energy, where reactions of the breathing chain take place. Hydrogen peroxide appears as a result of these processes again: the substance can be neutralized with antioxidants that can be found in fruit and vegetables. Peter and Michaela Axt, however, say that laziness can become a very good substitution for fruit and vegetables.

A healthy walk and moderate nutrition can bring a lot more good to a long and active life. The German scientists say that one should not be shy about taking breaks at work, especially if there is no boss around. Peter and Michaela Axt say that human beings need to relax when they feel like it – it is a very good remedy for the body and especially for the brain. A moment of relaxation helps the brain neutralize cortisol – the hormone that the human body produces in stress situations. The stress hormone is capable of damaging brain cells and leading to memory loss and premature senescence.

Peter Axt and his daughter are perfectly aware of what they wrote in their book. Peter, 65, was a member of the German national track and field team. He took part in international competitions, which were definitely preceded with many days and hours of exhausting physical exercises. Peter’s daughter followed her father’s example and clinched a silver medal in a 10,000-meter racing competition in Germany, Newsru reports.

AMD spoils Intel’s fun with sky display

Thursday, March 3rd, 2005

Well Corporate companies, and competition
CHIP FIRM AMD often attempts to pull off a stunt at the time of the Intel Developer Forum.
And this time it took to the sky in a bid to remind Intel that it has a dual core Turion 64 notebook processor on the way.

Four or five planes flying in a line spelt out the words AMD Turion 64 Mobility in the rather nice blue skies above San Francisco.

At the last IDF, AMD kept a stretch limo near the Moscone conference centre, but were told to get lost by a cop packing a gun.
